Handmade, Hallmarked silver and Gold Jewellery

Hello I'm Paulo.

I've been making jewellery on and off for many years.

My Great Uncle was a very Talented Silver Smith. When he passed away in my Teens, He left me his hobby bag.. whilst It didn't contain much of his tools, It did have a hammer, a Mandrel and few bits of scrap silver...
It was all I needed to catch the Bug.

I'm mostly self taught apart from a few jottings and notes written in good old Uncle Eric's notebook.

I still use very little in the way of modern tools I prefer the more traditional hand tools.
I polish all my Item's by hand, No electric buffers here.. I find them noisy and messy.. I've nothing against them I just prefer the slightly duller look of hand polished silver.

I also use no acids in my production.
I actually use salt and warm distilled vinegar as a pickle after soldering.. again acid is more effective and quicker, But the waste isn't great for the environment..
