Unique hand knitted gifts from Scotland

I'm Mel and I live in the very far north of Scotland.

Due to lack of employment opportunities and needing to stay at home for personal reasons I decided to become my own boss.

I have been knitting now for over 30 years and enjoy trying new designs or trying new crafts so starting my own business selling my hand knitted and beaded gift items was the perfect solution.

I started my business on 17 March 2010 selling my items in a local shop. After a year and an ever growing pile of stock I decided to try selling online instead where I had the chance to reach more people.

I started with adult knitted accessories which then expanded into a large selection of hand knit babywear and small gifts.

Now I feel the time is right to open a store here on Folksy to expand my business along with all the craft markets and highland games I attend.

Buying from me

Quality designer gifts and hand knitted items for all your family from the far North of Scotland.
From premature (preemie) baby clothes,baby and children's sweaters,dresses and cardigans through to adult men and women hats,scarves,wraps,shawls,neck warmers and wrist warmers.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

If you are not entirely satisfied please contact me within 14 days of receipt. A full refund minus return shipping costs which you pay will be refunded via your PayPal or Bank account on receipt of items in a good re-sellable condition with labels still attached and preferably in the original packaging.

"Cancellation policy to comply with EU regulations update."
This rule does NOT apply to custom-made products.

If you choose to cancel your purchase you need to send me a clear statement within 14 days of receiving the ordered goods.

Please note that the parcel must be clearly and prominently marked as
Returned Goods.
Failure to do so may incur costs to us that will be deducted from your refund.

I will not except returns after 1 month of you getting in touch to say you are returning the items.

Custom orders are non refundable due to the nature of the items. I will except some returns on custom goods but only if it was a straight forward size or colour change.
Please get in touch before returning custom orders.

All goods are well packed and should arrive in good condition. No responsibility will be held for lost or damaged parcels.
