Small Batch Ceramics with Personality

Dóttir Studio is the work of artist Jess King.

She creates small runs of ceramics planters, pots and gift items from her home studio, based in Hertfordshire. Building and painting each piece by hand to create unique pieces, meaning no two items are the same.

After the birth of her daughter, Jess sought a return to the work that made her heart happy, thus Dóttir Studio was born. Leaving behind a career in graphics and print, she brings this experience of surface pattern design to functional ceramic forms for the home and her love of animals into the characters she creates.

Dóttir is Icelandic for daughter. Iceland is where I married my husband.
