Sharing the joy of nature through print.

I worked in education as a lecturer in Art and Design for over 35 years. My freelance illustration career began when I graduated from University with a Creative Arts degree and has continued throughout my life as a way of maintaining my own practice and informing my teaching.

My current work has been produced using the linocut print process and centres mainly around wildlife themes. We are lucky enough to have the countryside on our doorstep and I get a lot of my ideas when walking our dog and being inspired by the Nottinghamshire landscape. In this increasingly digital world, I am drawn to printmaking as each print is unique and retains that personal hand made quality often lost in mass production.

    My husband saw this beautiful print on display at The Harley Gallery and really wanted his own copy. So, it will be a wonderful surprise for him on Xmas morning!

Buying from me

All my images are original pieces of work. I usually research my ideas in my sketchbook before selecting the one that will make the best print. This image is then transferred to lino and hand carved. I use Caligo Safewash relief printing ink to then print a limited number of copies on high quality paper. Due to the hand made nature of this process each print is slightly different thereby giving you a unique version to enjoy.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
