Ceramic art Designer and sculptress

I am a Lady Artist from Staffordshire and follow the traditions of the inspiring ladies before me who used ceramic art and design to shake things up a bit. I am currently studying for the final year of my Master's degree in ceramic design at Staffordshire University.
The inspiration for my work comes from my many years studying art history, my beautiful garden and the many beautiful things I see walking in the country with my family. I love Science fiction movies and like to design things that belong in Captain Pickards collection. I drink earl gray tea hot. I love dancing bright beautiful colours and put this into my artwork. I make sculptured pots and reliefs from stoneware and porcelain clay. The original clay model can require many days of work and so where possible I mould the sculptures so that they can be reproduced at a lower cost to the customer. I am fond of the weird and wonderful and this feeds into my artwork too. I like the combination of art and science. My Bengal cat is called Trouble and she often is, the dog is called Tiswas and she arrived on a Saturday.
