I design my own range of fabulous needlework kits and quirky handbags and accessories.

I'm hugely motivated by colour, it's exhilarating and weirdly calming. I love chopping and stitching, the more details the better. So any form of Needlework is perfect Everything has to be fitted in around my five boys, we live in rural Scotland, so it's miles to everything. Online shops and selling from my studio shop in Peebles is vital. I have spent time teaching Needlework at local schools and realise how much kids need to craft. You should see the smiles when they realise that they can do it! I have a range of small kits specifically designed for children and beginners, the are already in velvet gift bags. Perfect for kid's party gifts.
People say I must be a patient person but actually I am very busy and get bored easily. My Needlework Collection is really a product of this, I was uninspired by available tapestry and embroidery and started to create by own. My range of tapestry kits, Animal Fayre Designer Tapestry Kits Collection was launched in 2001 at the British Craft Trade Fair and I have never looked back!
