Hello! I'm Claire, raised in the south of England but moved to Northern Ireland with my partner from The Netherlands around 5 years ago, since then we've moved a couple of times but Northern Ireland has become home for both of us. My obsession with crafts started at an early age and no wonder. Both of my Grandmas' enjoy knitting and one owned a wool shop in Andover, where I enjoyed being her assistant on occasion. My Grandad prefered harder materials - turning wood into the most beautiful bowls and pens! So it is no shock that crafts and I were practically destined for each other.
I sold my creations for a couple of years before the covid-19 pandemic, but when it hit, I found myself being put to use making hundreds of face masks - an unfortunate requirement but I admit the hours I spent sewing was a welcome distraction - both myself and my partner were suddenly without income. Since then, I've worked passionately and tirelessly to hone my sewing skills, create things that will be cherished for years to come and make this once hobby of mine, an actual living!
