I love working with wood and am a lover of the British Arts and Crafts movement where items should be beautiful but practical.

I needed to reset my life and went on a course at Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy and fell in love with wood. If you ever want to be inspired to work by hand and eye then go and visit it - it's inspirational.
I now live on the edge of the New Forest and though I don't make boats I do make a range of items from wine racks (both large and small) tables, benches and especially solid oak letterboxes and parcel boxes.
I also weave oak to make doors lighter for covers for those plastic gas and electric covers and so commonly found these days.

I have sold over 700 boxes with Etsy and only ever received 5 star reviews so I hope my reputation will continue with Folksy.

Engraving can be done on Letterboxes, Parcel Boxes, House Names etc. These are done by patients recovering at the brilliant Salisbury Hospital Rehab unit.
