Embroidery Illustration

Life has always been busy, so crafts were always filed on my "maybe one day" pile.
Things have changed in the last few years, and in a good twist on this plot, embroidery and the peaceful action of stitching has become an anchor.

This last couple of years I have learn to observe life in a mindful way - the texture of a pen, the shape of a bottle, the detail on a cardigan, and that is what I try to share in my stitching.

I originally draw, hand stitch and water colour my pieces.
