Tropikala spawned from our love of African wax print fabrics - their bold patterns, bright colours and energetic personality. As our personal collection of fabrics grew, it was time to share our treasure trove of textiles, with the aim to bring life and colour into people's homes. And so Tropikala was born...

We source our textiles from around the world, with wax print fabrics made in Ghana and Nigeria, and stonewashed linens from Lithuania. We proudly support local textile industries in Africa and small businesses through our fabrics, which are never counterfeit, always authentic and never made in China.

We hope you love our handmade products as much as we do, and they find a happy place in your home.

Buying from me

I consciously source all my textiles, with African wax print fabrics made in Ghana and Nigeria, and stonewashed linens from Lithuania. I aim to support authentic textile industries and other small businesses through my handmade items, never using counterfeit fabrics or textiles mass produced in China.

Do get in touch if you are looking for a bespoke design or size lampshade, and I’ll be happy to help. All lampshades are made to order and typically dispatched within 1-7 days.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
