I love sewing, embroidery and knitting and I find that making nice things by hand helps keep me sane while the world around me is getting ever madder. There are only so many things I need for myself so I decided giving making to sell a go.
I've called my fledgling business 'there there' because I hope that the things I make by hand at home at my kitchen table will also have a soothing effect on their eventual owners. My items have been made with love and making them makes me happy. I hope they'll make you happy too!
I am based in a small market town in the Pennine hills of West Yorkshire where the weather is changeable but the people are kind. I have been knitting since forever, took up sewing seven years ago and relatively recently refreshed my embroidery skills. All my items are one-of-a-kind, as I rarely make the same thing twice!
