The story begins in 2011, when I was deeply touched by an article I read called ‘Fashion’s threadbare conscience’ about factory conditions where many of our high street clothes are made.
“I read the piece and there was a snowball effect. As I was digging deeper, doing more research into it, the disastrous factory collapse in Bangladesh occurred. The more I read about modern day slavery, the more I thought ‘this is not right, surely this is not how the story is going to end.”
I was a product manager in the luxury fashion design industry and now use my skills, experience and passion to empower women and give them hope and a future.

My favourite materials are always natural; Cotton, Wool, Silk, Linen, Jute, Hemp, Raffia... Textiles will always be close to my heart, I love handlooms and blockprints.
I grew up with dachshunds, they are part of my DNA, my current companion is a miniature wire haired dachshund called Petson.
