My love of working with wood. Turned Items revealing the natural beauty of the wood.

II made my first Dolls House over 20 years ago. Having three sons meant I was always surrounded by cars, trains and action figures. Building my first dolls house took 2 years and was safely stored in my bedroom.
I really wanted another dolls house but due to lack of space I started to make miniatures in boxes for family presents. This is where Shadow Boxes started.
I love the challenge of making a miniature item from odds'n'ends and adding a personal touch to any commission i do.
What started on the dining room table has now moved into the attic workshop. This is the perfect place right under the velux window for natural light.

Seven years ago I bought my first Pyrography iron and I find it very therapeutic and love working with wood. My love of wood has now given me the new craft of wood turning which I enjoy tremendously. I am using a mini lathe for my creations so can turn small bowls, birdhouses and some miniatures but my goal is to buy a larger lathe.
I find that my love of wood works well with the miniatures, pyrography and wood turning which I can combine all three.

I sell my crafts at local markets in Gloucestershire and also have a regular display at Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre in College Court, Gloucester GL1 2NJ.

Buying from me

All of my turnings and pyrography work are ethically sourced wood under EU timber regulations.
Each item I make will always be unique and I don’t mass produce any items.

The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment, for example being placed in an overheated setting.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
