The work reflects my own personal style and I endeavour to create unique pieces that are timeless yet utterly contemporary.
I have always been fascinated by minerals/gemstones and always ready to get hands dirty with different types of clay - it is this interest and knowledge that defines my collections.
I like to experiment with different techniques and am influenced by what is happening around – whether that is the natural environment, an unusual gemstone, fashion, moods or memories. I am Latvian, some of my items are inspired by Latvian nature and culture.
I have chosen to work with natural products where possible. Pardo Jewellery Clay modelling clay is non toxic, phthalate free and contains natural beeswax and premium pigments!
