I am an artist based in the south of Scotland. I trained as a printmaker, completing my studies at Glasgow school of art.
For the last year two have been concentrating on some new art works, based on drawings of plants from my own garden. What fascinates me about plants is the complexity of nature and the myriad of colours. Having completed a body of work based on various plants I began to consider colour in nature in other areas.
Birds seemed like the next logical step and I am still working on a series of fabulous feathers images. From pheasants to peacocks, to junglefowl and more. My birds are not cute and cuddly - they are striking and bold.
My images are detailed and can take many days to produce.
All my products are manufactured in the UK.
