Limited edition hand pulled lino prints

I print in my kitchen which is usually festooned with drying prints. I was inspired to open my Folksy shop after seeing the work of other printmakers and as I am starting to run out of space to store my prints!

I always have plants and flowers in the house in a variety of containers and these provide my inspiration along with domestic patterns such as wallpaper and tablecloths. I usually include items of fruit as they have such lovely shapes and colours. I love my small garden and allotment and these also provide inspiration as I need to print all the things I see!

My prints are reduction which means that the surface area of the lino is gradually reduced as I cut it away for each colour.
I print the first colour, usually a light one, then cut that away and print the second colour and so on until I print the last colour, usually a darker one. By this stage so little of the lino is left that it goes in the bin and I cant reproduce the exact design. I usually print 6-8 colours on each print.
