I fell in love with all things clay at senior school thanks to having a wonderfully enthusiastic (if slightly eccentric!) teacher.. When I came back to it about 15 years later at an adult education class I immediately felt like I’d arrived home.
My happy place is now a converted garage at the bottom of my garden which once a year I open up to take part in the Hampshire Open Studios to great feedback and many returning visitors. I have to say I don’t consider my pottery to be high art, nor is any of it deeply meaningful…. my aim is simply to have fun and make people smile.

This is the third cane topper I've bought from Steph - I'm so pleased with it. Love all the details - the steps, little flowers and the house and tree on the top are brilliant.
