Hi, I'm Debbie and I am the founder of McWilD. McWilD started in 2022 when friends suggested I sell the items I was making for friends and family.
I love working with yarn - it makes me happy! Everything I make is made to order, to your specifications. You dream it, I make it.
I live in Elgin in Scotland, with my husband. We have two grown children, who have flown the nest but return regularly! I enjoy travelling, knitting, crocheting, walking, reading and pottering around in the garden.
Everything inspires me - from a bonny sunrise, to the leaves on the trees through the changing seasons, to the sea which is also on our doorstep. We are surrounded by nature where we live, and that makes me very happy!
I work with my customers to ensure that we get the brief absolutely spot on, looking at patterns and yarn options and I give regular updates on the work in progress.
