Original Amigurumi Crochet meets British Wildlife and Folklore Storytelling..

Hi, my name is Lou. I Design and make One of a Kind Amigurumi. (Amigurumi means "Stuffed Toy" in Japanese!). I fell in love with this craft several years ago, as I find it meditative to count the rows and grow the spirals! Crocheting has become the love of my life!

I am inspired by the Nature around me, and my Love of British Wildlife, so it seemed natural to me to combine my love of both!. I also love thinking up stories, and each of my creations "speaks" to me once it is made, and I write down what they tell me! Creating an imaginary world of "Forrest Folk".

I use cotton yarn, embroidery thread, embellishments, beads, wood and eco stuffing to create my one of a kind pieces. I also make Hooks and Kits are coming soon!

Loumousey was born this year, and I hope that through my Gentle Activism, others will see through the eyes of a child, once more, the joy of our Beautiful Flora and Fauna and the importance of preserving it.
