I bought this item for two reasons. One, to knit something with Shetland wool using a wide range of colours, and two, to make a hat using a range of small traditional patterns. My mission accomplished with full marks. I was also amazed how much yarn was left on completion, having first thought there simply wouldn't be sufficient. Excellent pattern, very clear and a lovely warm hat as a result. Highly recommend. Top marks.

Another absolutely fabulous kit from this amazing designer. The kit itself is gorgeous, clear instructions, beautiful yarns and colours, and it all comes in it's own project bag. Julie offers great support too. The knit isn't too taxing, it is quick, quite simple, and so exiting as you see the colours and patterns emerge. I love that you get enough yarn for the project so you don't spend a fortune on loads of full skeins that you are then left with random amounts of. I would definitely recommend this!

After deciding I could never do fairisle knitting I spotted this kit in colours that really appealed to me and gave it a try. The kit is gorgeous, the instructions are clear and filled me with confidence and now everyone who has seen it wants me to knit them one! It took me 5 days to complete in the evenings, which also surprised me! I will definitely be doing more. Thank you!

After looking at all the high street shop offers on hats that all looked the same mass produced, lacking individualism etc I came across these gorgeous hats. I bought blue and it is comfy, soft, not itchy, beautifully made with doses of care and attention thrown in too. The hat arrived very promptly with a personal message from Jules.
