Welcome to KKD Hair Bows.

I'm here to help make it easy for you to add that extra touch to yours or your little one's outfit, to help them explore their own likes and dislikes and begin to express themselves.

My 3 year old daughter loves to choose how she wants to wear her hair each day; a ponytail, plait, bun or 'long' (as she calls it) and she loves to spend time clipping as many mismatched bows and clips into her hair as possible. I love seeing her grow and develop her own tastes and wants and I enjoy letting her have some control in her life.

The accessories I design and create are able to withstand little hands and they make great dress-up accessories for fun play-time as well as to add the final touch to an everyday or special outfit.

My collection of simple everyday bows are the essential set of versatile bows that will make it hassle-free to finish off an outfit and add some fun into your morning routine by picking an accessory to match an outfit, or vice versa (The outcomes can often be pretty enjoyable and unusual)

My boys' and unisex headbands are great for kids with long hair or sight difficulties; they keep the hair out of the face and they look cool too! They're also durable and machine washable.

Hair scrunchies are a super easy and simple way to spruce up a ponytail or pigtails and here you'll find a cute collection of pretty and practical ones.

New on the block are my funky clip on ties. These have a tie clip rather than a band around the neck so it eliminates that worry that your kiddo might get hurt. The clips are removable too so you can wash the tie easily and safely.

Where it began

I began making hair bows and little accessories because my daughter had a full head of hair by the time she turned 1 year old and I couldn’t find clips that I liked that stayed put.

I’m a very practical person and I’m not overly materialistic so when I give gifts or go shopping I always look to get something that is pretty/cool and practical too. If it’s not functional I’m not particularly interested; I’m just that kind of person, I like to get my monies worth out of an item.

At first I was just making things for me, my daughter and for friends and family but I think there are lots of people like you that are in a similar boat so I’d love to be able to help you too.

Making life fun.

My daughter is 3 years old and until she starts school I want to really enjoy the time we have together, before she gets her own life and friends and doesn't want to be my best friend anymore.

I make sure that we make fun out of the boring and everyday things. Such as spinning her around in the supermarket trolley during the food shop, jumping in the puddles together when it's raining and giving piggy back rides when her little legs just can't move fast enough for my pace.

We have a great relationship and bond and I hope that continues as she grows into an adult.

Flexible working.

I’m a lone parent studying accounting part-time as well as doing everything else that comes along with being a grown-up and a parent, so when my daughter is asleep in the evenings I’m studying, making hair clips, handbags and accessories or sleeping.

I love that KKD Hair Bows allows me to work around my daughter without compromising our quality time together and I’m very thankful to you for supporting me and my business, I couldn’t do it without you.

When you place an order with me I genuinely do a little happy dance and it makes me very happy that one of my creations has found a home.

My accessories are a small way to add some joy into your loved ones lives and I really hope that you love them and get as much fun out of them as much as I get out of creating them. x

KKD Hair Bows is about making it easy to find ways to tame those locks, finish off an outfit and add some joy and fun into daily life.

I appreciate practical and pretty accessories that are durable and easy to use. My range of bows and accessories are just that; they are made from great quality materials that will withstand little hands and also being used for play time.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

Returns

If you would like to return your item, please first contact me within 30 days of purchase via my ‘Contact me’ page or by emailing me at enquiries@kkdhairbows.co.uk.

To be eligible for a return and refund;

You must provide your order number or proof of purchase.

Your item/s must be unused and in the same, resaleable, condition that you received it/them.

Your item/s must be returned within 14 days from the date you contacted me.

Please note;

You, the customer, are responsible for delivery costs to return an item unless the item has been deemed faulty.

Customised items are not eligible for return.

Refunds

Once I have received your item and confirmed that it is unused and in original condition, I will notify you immediately and will initiate a refund to your debit card (or original method of payment).
