Exploring colour and pattern painting pebbles in peaceful surroundings

I have always loved crafting and tried many different creative hobbies. I find it so rewarding making something personal for someone special and thinking about them while I work, choosing colours they like and tayloring the design to them. I found pebble painting such a peaceful and totally absorbing escape from busy life and with pleasing results. I started by making gifts for friends and family for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas etc. They were received so well and friends encouraged me to try and sell my work.
I have more recently been inspired to create Chakra Mandala Stones. The healing colours promote wellbeing and mandala pattern a feeling of wholeness.
I paint in our light conservatory looking out onto fields behind our house, my cat Mango likes to inspect my work and play with the paintbrushes!
I have had commissions from friends and personalised the stones for them, I’ve also just started selling in a local shop ‘Love and Light’ Chepstow, South Wales, UK.
