I work full time ( when I'm not chasing my little boy around! ) designing and creating handcrafted jewellery and accessories from my home studio in Cambridgeshire. This has been my dream job and fits in perfectly with my busy family life.
I started making my first pieces in 2001, which were simple stretchy bracelets with a small collection of gemstones. My interest and fascination with gemstones and jewellery designing grew, so I started to learn new design techniques, and all about gemstone history and the healing properties they are believed to hold. as my collection of gemstones and other pretty beads grew, I soon needed my own space to work, and took over the spare room at my parents house, which I used as my little jewellery craft room for many years. Some years later, I got married and moved house, I knew I wanted to continue and expand my business, so we had our garage converted into a workshop for me. i was really excited to have more room and space to work in!
Over the years I have gone on to learn many new techniques and design a wide range of jewellery and accessories to sell. I love to use ethically sourced genuine gemstones in my designs, and also enjoy personalising jewellery and keyrings with special quotes, dates or names. Its a great feeling to know I've made something sentimental and personal for somebody.
