My name is Ian and I live in Stoke-On-Trent. I had an idea in early 2019 to build platforms for bird cages. The inspiration came from me wanting one for my pet budgie. I remember looking on the internet on Ebay, Amazon and Google for one and was really disappointed to find that there wasn't much out there and the products available I thought were cheap and of poor quality. Then I had a thought, 'why don't I design and build one myself and if its good, I'll make some and sell them!' So I got my pen and paper and Microsoft notepad out and went about designing and building my own. At this stage I hadn't much experience with designing and using tools and thought I'd keep working at it and learn as I go! I then built a prototype and was happy with it. Ever since then, I've kept developing and building and I've reached the stage where I have a product catalogue with variations and designs! I would now like to do it full-time!
