My inspiration is borne out of the desire to recycle.

Home Grown Crafting is about making something lovely, new and useful out of something old, worn out or out moded - discarded for whatever reason.

I love to breathe brand new life into things and materials that have mainly been discarded by someone at sometime. For example, I find that turning beloved and special clothes into bags and cushions works really well. Also, I've been lucky on occasions to find beautiful nursery curtains in charity shops and they can be made into fabulous products for children. Many of my products are made using out of date fabric swatch books that I buy from an interior designer - and particularly in this case every product is a one off - due to the very small size of the fabric sample!

Upcycling really is my inspiration!
