From hobby to small business

Hand Drawn Cards Crafts is a small business focused on designing and crafting beautiful yet simple cards for every occasion.

I started off this business after years of sending handmade cards to my friends and family. I was inspired to make my own cards rather than buy from a supermarket, when I spent hours searching online for wedding stationery only to find either nothing’s that suited my personality or my budget. I realised it would be cheaper to create my own, as well as far more personal. This gave me the “creative bug” and I soon found myself creating Christmas and birthday cards for my loved one, which were received with far more enthusiasm than a shop brought one.

So after years of persuasion from my husband, I decided to start up this store in the hope of satiating my creativeness, as well as making a few extra pennies for us and the bump (+future bumps-to-be).
