I sew unique quilted items!

About 8 years ago I decided to make myself a quilt. Even though it took me months, I loved the process and over the years I've been honing my skills making quilts for friends and family. I decided to turn my hobby into a business earlier this year (2016) and as well as quilts I have been really enjoying branching out into quilting all kinds of other little things. You'll find quilted eye masks, make-up bags, coin purses, jewellery and knitting needle cases in my collection!

I sew in my studio overlooking the Pentland hills and finish off the loose threads in the evenings of in front of the television and a cosy fire. If the weather is nice I might be in my garden hand-dying fabrics using traditional Shibori techniques (see the photo above). When I'm not being creative I'm often walking my cocker spaniel, Hobart, and border terrier, Etive, or out for a run in the hills.
