Welcome to the world of Dotty Red. A place full of quirky, happy textiles.

8 years ago I launched Dotty Red. As a newly single mum with two young boys to support. I'd always sewn so it seemed a natural choice for a career change after my divorce.

Dotty Red pops up at various artisan markets across Lancashire and Cheshire including Urmston, knutsford and Wimslow. Selling handmade textiles with a vintage 'boho' twist.

When not attending the markets or festivals Dotty Red specialises in heirloom dollies and textile pictures (or lamp shades) made to order.

The studio hosts workshops and a sewing school plus various social (craft related) evenings.

Home is a Victorian terraced house filled with thrifted goodness, with a wounderful open fire and a log burner, two crazy dogs and my children, who are no longer young boys but proud to say they have grown up to be wounderful young men. Who still want their mum to bake them cakes!
