Sustainability

After training to be a fashion designer then stylist in London, I went to work in two large fashion retailers as a display artist.
After a year of scoring my dream job at the countries largest fashion, home + living catalogue site I left to travel the world.

While away I saw beautiful countries were blighted by plastic waste. By us the tourists.
Upon returning I created a simple funnel bag - a flower + plant carrier.
To minimise plastic upon my weekly jaunt to buy flowers or plants.
This lead me to create products for all day + everyday.
I wanted a product that was different to off the peg + a valued product that would last.

I use an eco-friendly dye which minimises water use age + I am looking further to reduce CartandFerry’s carbon footprint by researching plant based zips + hemp based products for the foreseeable.

Our products arrive in packaging which is all recyclable + our swing tags are also recycled paper.

I currently work with several zero waste + organic collaborations to achieve a dream of sustainable living.
I also have 4 fish who all live with water plants + natural moss balls rather than just a plastic bridge...:)
