Simply beautiful beaded wire wizardry!

After relocating to Pembrokeshire Sue established The Bead Bothy in June 2021. Inspired by Celtic designs she uses coloured copper, aluminium and silver-plated wires to create woven wire jewellery. Many of her designs incorporate fire polished beads from the renowned PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ company. These classically faceted beads first made 500 years ago were originally polished in a kiln fire which is how they got their name. Pretty coloured gemstone beads of sodalite, jasper and a range of agates also feature within her pieces.

Appreciating the positive impact that creative thinking has upon her own well-being Sue regularly offers jewellery making as well as a range of mixed media art and craft parties to suit all age ranges.
