The two wooden birds of my second order (a WREN & a GOLD CREST) arrived safely. They were delicately and meticulously wrapped up. They have joined another wren (a gift) and 3 long tailed tits I bought not long ago from the same seller. All of them are now happily scattered, at various heights, among dried grasses, berries and dried cardoons gathered in a ceramic vase. They look amazing! Annie -the creator and seller- really excels in fine, delicate and artistic details. The birds I bought from her are neither fancy birds, nor scandi style birds, nor wooden bird shapes covered in pretty colours. They've got so much character! They are birds every bird lover would recognize the features of, but here, the true features are taken to a higher level, thanks to Annie's own artistic talent, her way of using colours, of delicately using ink, all with so much charm! This little wren is happy in my home and brings a smile of happiness to anyone's face. Annie's birds are small, bright and lightweight, perfect to hang all around your house wherever you like and in the way you like. They will brighten up any foliage gathered in a glass or metal container. They will give a new life to any fallen twigs and dead twisty branches picked up after a mighty storm and pushed inside an enamel jug or a ceramic vase. Up to you to choose a shelf, a window sill, a desk, a mantelpiece, or any table for the display ... Just follow your imagination and your sense of decoration. Enjoy these little hanging treasures, so full of life, so beautiful. By the way, they make wonderful gifts...
