PERSONAL APPROACH
I love making these drums because of the beautiful, pure sound they produce and the effect it has on people, including myself. The sound lifts you up and transports you to another place, where you can forget your worries. Different frequencies can have different effects, and I also love to try and find one that is right for you.
The personal exchange of chatting about what you want and how I can make a drum to match your needs is what makes it all worthwhile. I'm willing to give you my personal time and attention to find out what is best for you.

HANDMADE IN THE UK WITH LOVE
I also love handpainting these drums and using them as a canvas for unique, hand-painted artwork. It's a challenge to be asked for something different that I have never done before.
I tune very precisely and carefully, to exact notes and specific frequencies.
I do the whole production process by hand, so I am constantly checking the quality so nothing slips through the net.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
I have been making steel tongue drums (otherwise known as hank drums or handpans, and sometimes referred to incorrectly as hang drums) for 11 years. Previously I was part of a partnership making AM Drums in France, but am now making them on my own (rebranded as Affinitti steel tongue drums).
My extensive experience means they are of exceptional quality, both in terms of sound and appearance.
