About this item
This is` Dandelion Cottage` a 12th scale dolls cottage / room box. 100% handmade by myself, including the picture on the front, which is a print from my own ORIGINAL painting `The Dandelion Fairy`. It is coated with 4 coats of protective varnishes, and `gel` medium to give it a textured appearance. The size internally is 9.25" width x 8" high, and a depth of about 8.50" externally...13" wide x 13" high and a depth of about 10" It is my own design of cabinet. The dragonfly and butterfly door catches are also made by myself, made of white metal in my own moulds. I will be making other s with the same cabinet design, but with different `Fairy` pictures. The inside is a complete `Blank Canvas` ready for the new owner to make into a lovely cottage interior. This is an adult collectors item and not suitable for young children.

I love painting, but also love the tactile side of making things, especially dolls cottages / room boxes. I can combine both here, and hopefully someone with a good imagination can envisage a cottage interior, probably rather rustic, for this little fairy.
