About this item
Practical but also decorative crocheted basket with hanging loop in black and grey shades. This sparkly basket measures around 12.5cm in diameter 10.5 cm deep with a hanging loop of about 8cm wide and 5cm drop. It has been made using 3 different strands crocheted together – 1 black cotton yarn, 1 shimmery silver-grey yarn with incorporated silver sequins and the third is a sheer organza black ribbon. The combination of materials makes it very sturdy with very little stretch, but a degree of flexibility. Hang it on a hook or door handle to keep small things tidy or to hand. Great for make-up or small bathroom items. Also useful for holdingvscissors etc. and catching craft scraps when working on a project in front of the TV. I welcome custom requests, so if you'd like something similar made to your own specifications, please get in touch.

I have made several of these baskets to hold my scissors and catch scraps of yarn whilst crocheting. They hang on a cupboard door handle near my favourite chair in my craft room and lounge and keep my work area tidy (much to the cat's chagrin!).
