About this item
What a lovely gift this would make for a book lover….perhaps with a new or secondhand paperback in! A giant granny square sewn together to make a protective sleeve for a paperback. It does up with a long strap and a wooden button Made in dark pink aran weight 100% cotton It measures 22cm (8.75in) across by 17.5cm (7in) top to bottom and fits a paperback that measures 20cm x 12.5cm x 2.5cm The listing is for the book sleeve only doesn't include the book! Because the button is wooden, it might be better to give it a quick hand wash if it needs it, lay on a towel and roll up to squeeze out the water and dry flat. I absolutely love to crochet and knit and put many many hours of time and patience into everything I make….if you would like a book sleeve in a different colour then please ask.

What buyers say about The Red House
Beautiful. So much craftsmanship has gone into this. Perfect for Winter evenings, lay over your legs when snuggled by an open fire. Beautifully packaged as well.

Bought 1 itemA lovely handmade treat to myself that I look forward to wearing. Very well made, love that it is a bit different and unique. I will be purchasing more similar!

Bought 1 itemI love my book sleeve! It's the perfect item for a book lover. Some of my well-loved books get so worn and tatty because I carry them around with me in the hope of getting some coffee shop time to sit and read. This protects them perfectly, and the colour is really funky too.
