Lincoln Cathedral is an architectural masterpiece and one of Lincolnshire's most iconic landmarks. In 1311, it became the tallest building in the world, retaining that distinction until 1549, when its central spire was severely damaged by a storm. The dramatic angle of this photograph emphasises the cathedral's incredible Gothic architecture, creating a powerful sense of height, scale and perspective.
