About this item
These are unique entirely hand-crafted stained glass Rainbow Snails which I designed and made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. Rainbow coloured snails with a green body and a shell cut from 9 different types and shades of glass so they are full of movement. The eye is a little dichroic topped nugget I fused in my kiln as is the decoration in the centre of the shell. Really beautiful and guaranteed to add a little brightness wherever you place them. I've framed the top with twisted wire to give a shell effect and it also provides extra strength. The snails are 11cm x 8cm and have a 25cm brass rod firmly attached via solder to the back making them 30cm from top to bottom. The snails are designed to be pushed into a pot, to decorate a house plant or can be used in the garden again to decorate a pot or directly into the soil They are as robust as I can make them but please do handle with care. They are made of glass. Everything I make is lovingly and entirely handcrafted. These will make a super and very unique present.
