The listing is for two of these charming little figurines/charms of a mother monkey with a baby on her back, riding on the back of a tortoise. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, this unusual trio represents the balance of opposing forces: the lively, agile monkey symbolises the active Yang, while the tortoise represents the receptive Yin, with its stillness, longevity and wisdom. The baby monkey adds another layer of meaning, representing maternal love, care and devotion. I've shown both sides of the item so you can see how it looks from all angles. It has a hole through the centre so can be added to a bag charm or made into a hanging decoration. (I have used one on a bag charm in my shop if you want to see how it looks.) The item measures approx 2.5cm high and 2.5cm wide. I think it is made of brass, but have no way of confirming this. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry.
