This collagraph print is simply named Magpie. There is a superstition that one magpie is unlucky. However, it is said that if you salute or doff your cap, and utter a polite greeting, you will block any back luck. It is printed on Japanese Hosho Paper. Paper size 31 x 28 cm. Image size 19 x 15. Edition of 4 - you may receive a different print number than the one pictured. Please note, because these prints are made by hand there may be minor imperfections or variations in colour and texture of the print and in the paper. These slight variations are part of the beauty of traditional printmaking. As a result, no two prints are exactly alike adding to their unique character and charm.
