Full description
This is ME is a mixed-media rendering of living with the illness that is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In it, I try to encapsulate the experience of pain and exhaustion, trapped in a failing body. I also wanted to express the feelings of being housebound, losing identity, and coming apart. This listing is for the original A3 artwork, in mixed media on cardboard, and comes with a black frame. A mini-print of this piece is also available on the Apocodeco Folksy shop.
