About this item
A soft sculpture wren on branch in a hand painted bamboo box, decorated with an image transfer wren. The shape for the little wren was made from cardboard, then covered in fabric, appliquéd and embroidered, embellished with a glass bead eye and sequins. The branch is made of twisted florist wire covered with tissue paper, and hand painted water colour paper leaves. The background is made up of hand sewn hexagons and vintage buttons. Approximate measurements 15cm x 4cm My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and are made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children).
