This frog was inspired by my love of nature and the small hidden worlds found in gardens and wild places. I wanted to capture the feeling of a frog resting among flowers and grasses, so I preserved real dried botanicals inside the resin to create a tiny botanical scene within its body. Each plant was chosen for its colour and texture, giving the piece a natural, woodland feel.
Avoid Consumption/Ingestion: Do not use resin items for hot food, and avoid letting children chew on them, as ingested pieces can be toxic. Avoid Heat/Sanding Fumes: While cured resin is stable, sanding or cutting it can release microplastics. Inhaling this dust should be avoided, and it should not be exposed to extreme heat. Sensitive Skin: Even cured resin can cause allergic reactions (skin sensitisation) in some individuals if they have developed a sensitivity. For everyday items like jewellery, decorations, or art, cured resin is generally safe, but it is not intended for food preparation or items that will be frequently placed in the mouth.
