I was inspired by the delicate patterns of poppy seed heads and wanted to capture their natural beauty in clay. Pressing a real poppy head into the clay allowed me to preserve that texture, then highlight it with blue glaze for a soft, organic look. This piece reflects my love of nature and turning small natural details into something useful and lasting.

Full description
A handmade ceramic dish crafted from durable stoneware clay. The textured pattern is created using a real poppy seed head, giving the piece a beautiful natural imprint that celebrates organic forms. The delicate poppy impressions are highlighted with a soft blue glaze, then finished with a clear glaze for a smooth, refined surface.
This dish makes a lovely decorative accent and is also perfect for holding special jewellery, coins, or other small treasures.
