My sister, who lives in York, sent me a link to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts's appeal for knitted robins. I was born in Yorkshire & love robins, so I knitted them 3. My sis asked for 3 more & I've just carried on knitting. Each one has a life of its own as hand knitted toys are always unique & quirky!

Full description
This little fellow is knitted to the same pattern as his smaller sibling, but with double knit yarn. He will cheer up any surface & if your tree is a large one, he could live in it as well. Hand knitted & fully stitched, he is quite hardy. He stands about 15 cm tall & his legs are made from bound drinking straws, so there is nothing sharp. Stuffing is hypoallergenic toy stuffing.
