Sodalite was first discovered in 1811 in Greenland, although it’s also been located in Canada, Russia, Norway and also in the area of Mount Vesuvius. It’s often thought of as a stone of insight and mental enhancement, helping to unlock a deep sense of intuition in the wearer.
