Inspired by warm sunny days, these light and dainty, gold fill earrings will add a touch of warmth and sophistication to any outfit. Your golden studs will be hand made to order, and shipped within 5 days. They will arrive in a hand stamped box. Each earring weighs 0.4g. The ear post is Sterling Silver, as is the butterfly back. 14 k Filled Gold is created by bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight, and is therefore a much thicker and more durable alternative to gold plating. All jewelry is designed and created by hand, in my small studio in Totnes, Devon. I use recycled sterling silver in combination with a variety of other materials, from brass and copper to driftwood.
