Large Glass Dish in Teal Green with Seaweed Motif

A stunning glass dish in a vibrant teal green with a seaweed motif - perfect to add a splash of colour to a coastal style home. This is a large sized dish from my 'Seaweed' collection of seaglass style kiln-formed glass dishes. The colour is a vibrant teal green with a golden green seaweed motif. The bowl has an organic shape with smooth rounded edges and a rounded base and a satisfyingly weighty feel to it. And a lovely tactile satin finish to the glass surface (just like sea glass) means you won't be able to resist stroking it! SIZE: 25cm x 21cm x 5.5cm H CARE: Not intended for food use. Handwash only. PROCESS: Handmade by me, Helen Smith, in my studio on the Wirral peninsula. I create my bowls by fusing together multiple layers of glass in my kiln where they stretch and flow ensuring that no one bowl is the same as any other. I then sandblast the glass before firing it in the kiln again to obtain the final form and tactile satin finish. All elements of this dish are glass - no paint was involved anywhere!
