Heart Suncatcher Stained Glass Purple Abstract 024

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. An abstract, very purple design of a Heart filled with a collection of glass nuggets. It is 14cm x 11cm and the heart border is cut from two types of rich purple glass, which is strengthened round the edge with twisted wire.. I've then filled the middle with a collection of mainly purple glass nuggets to make an abstract design. The nuggets are handmade fused glass which I've made in my kiln and these are patterned continuing the abstract idea . I've included lots of dichroic glass decoration to make it extra special and there are some purple millefiori and snippets of purple glass included as well . It hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart. it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room. It is totally individual and I am really pleased with this design. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique. I can make this in other colours but cannot make one exactly the same as the glass stones I make in my kiln are unrepeatable. I also have other colour options for sale as a separate listing shown in last picture.
