Stained Glass Bee and Flower Suncatcher - Handmade Window Decoration

Bee and flower suncatcher made in beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass. I found the pattern for this flower and just couldn’t help but incorporate it in different suncatchers. I have added a bee which is always popular and makes a great combination. The bee has been made from yellow water glass, clear textured glass for the wings, small black glass nuggets have been used for the eyes. Tinned wire has been used for the antenna. Copper foil has been overlaid no the glass, tinned and patina applied to blacken. The flower has been made from red hammered glass with orange hammered glass for the centre and a lovely corella green glass for the leaves. I have used a twisted tinned wire for the circle and scrolls to give a little more structure. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed and polished. This suncatcher measures cms x cms approx. I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up in the window as soon as you receive it. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push firmly onto the window. I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with signature. Please note as this is make from glass if dropped it may break resulting in sharp edges so care should be taken. This is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children.
