Perfect for Spring, this gorgeous floral shopping bag is made from a remnant of vintage Sanderson fabric featuring a rosebud trellis pattern in shades of blue and green against a white background. It is lined with a co-ordinating pale blue ticking stripe cotton fabric. The bag is super spacious and will fold up to fit neatly into your handbag, but is large enough to fit all manner of goodies, from library books to lunchboxes. It measures approximately 47cm x 37 cm and the straps are long enough to wear as a shoulder bag. I've tried to show it's size in relation to a magazine in the last photograph to give you an idea of just how gloriously capacious it is! I've always loved Sanderson fabric and this pattern really doesn't disappoint. My only dilemma was what to make from this gorgeous remnant as it lends itself beautifully to so many projects. I opted for shopping bags and zip-up pouches which would make perfect Mother's Day gifts.
